Privacy Notice

What this website collects, why, and what happens to it afterwards.

Last updated: 24 July 2026

InfraX is a technology consultancy based in Belfast, Northern Ireland. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice.

This notice covers infraex.solutions. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little with your data: there is no account to create, no newsletter, no analytics, and no database behind it.

What we collect

The only personal data we collect is what you choose to type into our contact form:

  • Your full name (required)
  • Your email address (required)
  • Your company name (optional)
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • Which service you are interested in — cloud, web, AI, several of them, or something else
  • The message you write us

When the form is submitted, your IP address is recorded alongside it. We use that solely to stop the form being abused.

If you book a call, you enter your details into a Cal.com booking widget embedded on our contact page rather than into our own form. See Who we share it with below.

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to discuss and scope any work that might follow, and to keep a record of the conversation.

Your IP address is used to rate limit the contact form — normally a maximum of five submissions per hour from the same address — and it is included in the notification email we receive so that we can recognise abuse if it happens.

Our lawful basis under the UK GDPR is legitimate interest — responding to people who contact us and protecting the site from misuse — and, where you are asking us to quote for work, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We do not use your details for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell, rent or trade them.

Who we share it with

Your data is shared only with the suppliers that make this site and our email work, and only so that they can provide that service to us:

  • Resend — our email delivery provider. Contact form submissions reach us as an email sent through Resend.
  • Vercel — our hosting provider. This site and the endpoint that handles the contact form run on Vercel’s infrastructure.
  • Cal.com — the booking widget embedded on our contact page. Anything you enter into that widget goes to Cal.com and is handled under their own privacy policy.

Resend, Cal.com and Vercel are US-based, so sending the form or opening the booking widget transfers your details outside the UK. Each offers contractual safeguards for those transfers under its own terms.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising, and nothing following you between pages or across other websites.

The one exception is the Cal.com booking widget on our contact page. When that widget loads, Cal.com may set its own cookies. That is under Cal.com’s control, not ours.

How long we keep it

There is no database behind this site, so nothing you submit is stored on the server itself. The server holds your IP address in memory only for the rate-limiting window. It is, however, included in the notification email, so in practice it is kept for as long as that email is.

The enquiry itself arrives as an email in our mailbox. We keep it for as long as we need it to answer you and to keep a record of the enquiry. If you would rather we deleted it sooner, ask and we will.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
  • Have anything inaccurate corrected (rectification)
  • Ask us to delete it (erasure)
  • Ask us to restrict how we use it (restriction)
  • Object to our using it (objection)
  • Receive it in a portable, machine-readable form (portability)

To exercise any of these, email us at contact@infraex.solutions. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
